The Institute endeavors to improve the quality of Training; a lot of effort is being put in by both the staff and Institute administration as well as the trainees in order to maintain KTI as the leading provider of technical/vocational education in the region and the Country at large.
We have strong community social responsibility through both financial and materials support to churches, schools, and communities like Sponsoring needy students under school dependents (4) and 10 half bursary schemes, Real life projects in particular the construction of classroom block at Katunga SSS, construction of Kitchen at Kibatsi Archdeacon house and renovation of Kibatsi Central school among others.
A government-aided Institution that was founded by C.O.U West Ankole Diocese in 1982 and the Government of Uganda under the Ministry of Education and Sports took it over in 1992. The Institute is now under South Ankole Diocese, Kibatsi Archdeaconry Kajara County Ntungamo District
